A Diabetes Lifestyle Change Program

The Shasta Family YMCA is excited to partner with the American Diabetes Association to bring Project Power to our community. The program raises diabetes awareness and offers diabetes risk reduction education to people with diabetes and prediabetes.

This no-cost, 12-week program promotes healthy lifestyles, healthy eating, and increased physical activity with an easy-to-use app. Health care provider coaches will work closely with participants in a small group setting to help them break old habits, create new ones, set attainable goals, and keep them motivated.

Program participants will receive a wireless scale, activity tracker, as well as other program supplies and incentives. Project Power will be offered remotely, so you can choose the best day and time to participate. For more information, visit Project Power | Shasta Family YMCA.
